On March 5, 1982, "Saturday Night Live" star overdosed in L.A. hotel

MARCH 5--Today marks the 25th anniversary of John Belushi's death. The comedian died of a drug overdose on March 5, 1982 at Hollywood's Chateau Marmont hotel. The "Saturday Night Live" and "Animal House" star had gone on a drug and alcohol bender before being found dead in his bed, according to a Los Angeles coroner's report (a copy of which you'll find below). Investigators noted that a friend discovered Belushi, 33, "unresponsive" and lying in a "tight fetal position." (9 pages)
