Cops Arrest Florida Woman In Jeepjacking Of Pink Barbie Power Wheel
What kind of a person steals a little girl’s Barbie Power Wheel Jeep?
Meet Etta Boyles, the 39-year-old Florida woman allegedly responsible for the recent jeepjacking. After pinching the battery-powered ride, Boyles’s boyfriend reportedly sold the hot wheels for $20, according to the Crestview Police Department report excerpted here.
The jeep, which retails for about $250, was swiped from in front of the home of Susan Gross, whose granddaughter used the Barbie vehicle. When Gross learned that Boyles had taken the jeep, she demanded its immediate return, or she would contact police. By then, however, the pink wheels had already been fenced.
Boyles, pictured in the above mug shot, was arrested late last month for petty larceny.
