As these autopsy excerpts show, those are just a couple of the post-mortem observations made recently by the Los Angeles coroner who reviewed the accidental death of Mark Hughes, controversial founder of Herbalife, the billion-dollar weight loss company.
After going on a four-day drinking binge (which included the ingestion of anti-depressants), Hughes was found dead by his wife in their $25 million Malibu mansion. According to Herbalife lore, Hughes started the firm following his mother's accidental OD from prescription diet pills. (5 pages)
