    Meet Bounty Cheramy.

The 22-year-old Florida resident was arrested for drunk driving early Sunday after allegedly slamming his Mazda into an electronic sign cautioning motorists to “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over.”

According to a probable cause affidavit, cops found Cheramy outside his car around 12:30 AM on the Tamiami Trail in Port Charlotte on the state’s Gulf Coast. Cheramy’s auto had sustained “heavy front-end damage,” reported a deputy who also noted that “the county sign board trailer had been struck.”

Cheramy told police that he was talking on the phone when he “suddenly struck something,” but was unsure “what he had struck or how he hit it.”

The wrecked electronic sign is pictured below.

Cheramy smelled of alcohol, was swaying back and forth, and could not focus on questions posed by a deputy, the affidavit alleges. Cheramy, who performed poorly on a series of field sobriety tests, took two breath tests, both of which recorded his blood alcohol content at twice the .08 legal limit.

Cheramy was charged with a pair of DUI counts and careless driving. He is scheduled for arraignment on September 16.

A 74-year-old Florida landlord shoved a female tenant and then stole a Donald Trump flag that was displayed in the victim's yard, police charge.

Cops say that Joseph Mazzara yesterday afternoon went into the “closed backyard of the victim to steal a Trump flag.” Mazzara, who owns the small apartment building where the woman lives, “had no right to enter the residence and was not performing his official landlord duties,” according to an arrest affidavit.

Around 2:30 PM Monday, Mazzara arrived at the property (seen below) in Indian Rocks Beach, a city in the Tampa Bay area, and “forcefully pushed” Lisa Marie Pelland, 60, to gain access to the sideyard. After pushing Pelland, Mazzara “took the Trump flag and left the scene,” police reported.

Pelland told cops she suffered minor bruising and had “grease/dirt marks on her arm from the defendant touching/striking her.”

Pictured above, Mazzara was subsequently arrested and charged with felony battery. The enhanced count stems from the fact that Mazzara has a prior battery conviction (he was found guilty in 2017 of choking his daughter).

Mazzara was freed last night from the county jail after posting $2500 bond. The arrest affidavit does not indicate whether the Trump flag was recovered, or why Mazzara was not charged with theft.

While Mazzara and Pelland are both registered voters, neither has declared a party affiliation, records show.

As his Tesla operated in autopilot mode on a North Carolina highway, a motorist was watching a movie on his phone when the vehicle crashed into a police car early this morning, investigators say.

According to police, Devainder Goli, a 66-year-old emergency room doctor from Raleigh, was traveling home just after midnight on Highway 64 when his Tesla Model S sedan struck a Nash County Sheriff's Office patrol car (which then caromed into a North Carolina State Highway Patrol vehicle).

A sheriff’s deputy and a state trooper had stopped on the highway due to a previous accident. While they were knocked to the pavement in the Tesla crash, neither was seriously injured.

A subsequent investigation determined that Goli (seen above) was watching a movie on his phone while the Tesla was in autopilot mode. Due to an assortment of cameras and ultrasonic sensors, the electric car manufacturer claims autopilot is safer than a human driver in average driving conditions.

Pictured above, Goli has been charged with a pair of vehicular law violations, including driving a motor vehicle while “viewing any television, computer, or video player.”

Goli’s damaged Tesla and the sheriff’s squad car are pictured below.

Police have not identified what movie Goli was watching when the crash occurred.

After repeatedly being asked to wear a mask inside an Ace Hardware store, a Florida Man allegedly coughed directly in the face of an employee before backhanding the victim and then striking a customer in the face, cops charge.

Russell Wood, 51, was arrested for battery following a confrontation yesterday afternoon at store in Largo, a city in the Tampa Bay area. The 6’ 6”, 200-pound Wood was booked into the Pinellas County jail on the misdemeanor count. A judge this morning set his bond at $250.

Police charge that Wood (seen at right) was asked by employees to leave the hardware store since he “refused to wear a mask.” While being asked to vacate the business, Wood “turned around and coughed directly in the face" of a male employee, according to an arrest affidavit.

Wood then “took a small step backward and slapped the victim with the backside of his hand,” cops say. While subsequently “being ushered out of the business,” Wood “struck a customer in the face as well.” Police allege that Wood also threatened to burn down the hardware store.

Wood fled the scene, but was quickly apprehended by Largo Police Department officers. “The defendant advised he was defending himself and admitted to striking the victim,” a patrolman reported.

Wood’s rap sheet includes convictions for drunk driving (twice), violating probation, and habitually driving with a suspended or revoked license.

A dispute between next-door neighbors over the placement of political yard signs turned violent, with a Donald Trump supporter punching a Joe Biden backer in the face, Florida cops allege.

According to police, a confrontation Friday afternoon resulted in the arrest of Anthony Vullo, 55, on a misdemeanor battery charge.

Vullo, seen at right, reportedly was miffed that Joseph Lebert, 48, had placed a Biden sign in front of his Trump sign, thus obscuring it from the view of passing cars and pedestrians on their street in DeBary, a city 25 miles north of Orlando.

Vullo is a registered Republican, while Lebert is a registered Democrat, according to state voter records.

After a witness notified him that Vullo had “took his political yard sign from his yard and threw it across the yard,” Lebert confronted his neighbor. Lebert told cops Vullo “stated it was rude of him to place a political yard sign in front of his own and blocking it from view.”

Lebert said that he and Vullo then pushed each other before Vullo punched him in the face. Though he had “obvious signs of injury over his left eye,” Lebert declined medical treatment, police reported.

While Vullo admitted that he “tossed” Lebert’s Biden sign, he claimed that he only punched Lebert after his neighbor swung at him and missed. A witness, however, corroborated Lebert’s account of the incident.

After being booked into the county jail, Vullo was released on his own recognizance in advance of his September 14 arraignment on the misdemeanor count. He has been ordered by a judge to have no contact with Lebert, and has been prohibited from possessing firearms or other weapons, according to a pretrial supervision order.

As seen below, the Vullo and Lebert residences share a contiguous front lawn that is only separated by a picket fence fragment.

A Florida Man yesterday choked his pit bull to death after the dog bit his girlfriend on the ankle, according to a criminal complaint.

Joseph Wayne Walker, 38, allegedly killed the animal in the front yard of his Pinellas Park home around 1 AM Sunday. Walker, seen at right, was charged with cruelty to animals, a felony, in connection with the strangling of the 10-year-old canine.

Cops say the 25-pound pit bull bit Walker’s girlfriend, resulting in a laceration to her ankle. When the woman entered the house to clean the wound, she told Walker--who was asleep at the time of the dog bite--what occurred.

Walker, cops allege, responded by bringing the dog to the home’s front yard, where he straddled the animal and “choked it using two hands.”

During subsequent police questioning, Walker reportedly admitted to killing the dog, and told officers that it “took a couple of minutes for the dog to die.” Walker, cops noted, had “scratch marks on his stomach from the dog trying to get out of the chokehold.”

The arrest affidavit does not disclose how police learned of the strangulation.

Walker was released early today from the county jail after posting $10,000 bond. A judge has ordered Walker to be outfitted with an alcohol monitor and has barred him from having any pets.

Walker is a felon whose rap sheet includes convictions for domestic battery; marijuana possession; drunk driving; obstructing police; felony battery; criminal mischief; and violating a restraining order.

A Florida Man with multiple drunk driving convictions on his rap sheet is facing another DUI charge after police spotted him driving his lawn mower down the middle of a highway.

Paul Burke, 48, was pulled over Thursday night as he drove on Highway 316 near his home in Fort McCoy, a community just north of Ocala. Burke, atop a Husqvarna riding lawn mower, was driving significantly below the 55 mph speed limit.

Burke, who told a Marion County Sheriff’s Office deputy that he did not have a driver’s license, acknowledged that, “I have had maybe a little too much to drink tonight.”

After a wobbly Burke was unable to perform field sobriety tests, he told the cop, “Just take me to jail.” At one point, an exasperated Burke motioned towards his ride and said, “I’m on a lawnmower.”

Due to his multiple prior DUI convictions, Burke was charged with a pair of felonies. He was released Monday from the county jail after posting $11,000 bail. Burke’s rap sheet includes other convictions for grand theft, cocaine possession, forgery, and leaving the scene of a car crash.

For the second time in a week, a businessman has been charged with fraudulently securing Paycheck Protection Program loans that were then used to purchase a Lamborghini.

Federal agents today arrested Lee Price, a 29-year-old convicted felon, in connection with a criminal complaint charging the Houston, Texas resident with bank fraud, wire fraud, and two other felonies.

According to investigators, Price filed a pair of fraudulent applications for PPP loans earmarked for businesses in need of emergency relief due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Price received a total of $1.6 million in PPP loans for two separate companies.

The applications submitted by Price, prosecutors allege, contended that the two firms had numerous employees and significant payroll expenses. The federal probe, however, determined that neither company “has employees nor pays wages consistent with the amounts claimed in loan applications.”

Instead of using the government funds for legitimate purposes, Price (seen at right) allegedly spent loan proceeds to buy a 2019 Lamborghini Urus for $233,000. He also allegedly spent PPP funds on a $14,000 Rolex watch, real estate transactions, clothing, liquor, and a new $85,000 Ford F-350 pickup truck. Additionally, some of the money covered Price’s tabs at Houston strip clubs and other nightspots.

In Price’s loan application for 713 Construction LLC, the 88-year-old man identified as the firm’s CEO had died a month before Price submitted the PPP application. The $752,452 loan, received from Harvest Small Business Finance, was purportedly intended to help retain 30 jobs.

The dead man whose name appears to have been appropriated owned a wine store in Cleveland, Ohio, and had “no known connection to 713 Construction,” according to a criminal complaint.

According to a U.S. Government database of PPP loan recipients, Price’s Price Enterprise Holdings LLC had two loans approved in late-June, one from Radius Bank (for between $350,000 and $1 million) and another from Customers Bank (for between $1 million and $2 million). While approved, the larger loan was not funded, prosecutors say.

According to Texas Secretary of State records, Price Enterprise Holdings was first licensed to do business in late-April.

Price made his initial appearance this afternoon in U.S. District Court in Houston, where a magistrate judge ordered him locked up in advance of a detention hearing Thursday.

According to Texas state court records, Price is a "habitual offender" who has been convicted of robbery and forgery. He is currently facing charges in three separate state criminal cases (two involve his alleged tampering with government records, while he is accused in the third case of being a felon in possession of a firearm). In light of Price’s arrest on federal charges, state prosecutors today filed bond revocation motions in all three of his pending cases.

On July 27, federal prosecutors announced the filing of felony fraud charges against David Hines, a Florida man who received nearly $4 million in PPP funds. Hines, 29, is accused of using $318,000 in loan proceeds to purchase  a 2020 Lamborghini Huracán Evo.

    Meet Steven Lee Donovan.

The 22-year-old pizza deliveryman was allegedly pleasuring himself Tuesday night while seated behind the wheel of a 1996 Honda Civic parked outside a Circle K in Fruitland Park, Florida.

While Donovan was masturbating, a woman whose car was parked next to the Honda noticed that the vehicle’s sole inhabitant had penis in hand and was stroking himself in “up and down motions.”

Unfortunately for Donovan, the witness was an off-duty cop from a neighboring city. She copied down the Honda’s license plate (JACR06), which she subsequently provided to police dispatchers.

A Fruitland Park Police Department report notes that a review of surveillance footage captured the suspect--who wore a black mask--“pulling his pants down as he grabs his genital area” and “making a continual motion with his genital area.”

Cops tracked the vehicle to a residence where they found Donovan, who works for a Hungry Howie’s pizza franchise, and Maxine Munro, his 20-year-old girlfriend (and the car’s registrant). During questioning, Donovan reportedly told police that he drove to Circle K around 10:00 PM to grab a post-work drink.

After Donovan placed himself at the scene of the masturbation, he was arrested and placed in handcuffs. It was at this point that Munro asked to speak with Donovan, who was in the rear of a patrol car.

During the couple’s conversation--which was recorded by a dash cam--Donovan was “very apologetic to Maxine,” cops reported. Acknowledging that he was “horny and was masturbating to pornography,” Donovan “advised Maxine that he didn’t think masturbating in his car was illegal.”

Sadly, Donovan apparently did not further expound on his belief that a Honda’s interior was some kind of a sovereign zone.

Charged with exposure of sexual organs, a misdemeanor, Donovan was booked into the Lake County jail. He was freed from custody early yesterday morning upon posting $1000 bond. He is scheduled to be arraigned on August 13.

A nude couple tangled with police after they were spotted strolling with their dog early Monday morning near their Massachusetts home.

Responding to 911 calls about the naked duo, cops encountered the couple around 6:30 AM. Investigators say that Mariel Kinney, 32, and Kevin Pinto, 30, were accompanied by their dog Lucy as they walked near their home in Hopkinton, a town 30 miles west of Boston.

When police questioned Kinney and Pinto about their state of undress, the pair allegedly became confrontational after answering some questions incoherently. After yelling and swearing at police, the couple sought to run away from officers, but they were quickly corralled.

What followed, cops charge, was a violent scrum during which Kinney and Pinto struck Hopkinton Police Department officers (one of whom required treatment for minor injuries)

Pictured above, Kinney and Pinto were eventually restrained and placed into custody. They were each charged with indecent exposure, assault and battery on a police officer, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, and disturbing the peace.

The couple has not yet been arraigned on the felony and misdemeanor counts in District Court.

“It wasn’t the typical day in Hopkinton, that’s for sure,” Police Chief Joseph Bennett told the local paper. “They were buck naked.” In fact, Hopkinton, which is the starting point for the Boston Marathon, was named this month as the country’s second safest city by SafeWise, the home security firm.

A South Carolina man who was recorded walking around a Walmart “coughing on food items and general merchandise” has been arrested on a pair of felony charges.

Kyle Arendell, 39, was busted yesterday for aggravated breach of peace and malicious injury to property in connection with a disturbance Sunday evening at a Walmart near his Spartanburg home.

As seen in a video recorded by a fellow shopper, Arendell--who is not wearing a protective mask--deliberately coughs on a variety of items as he pushes a blue cart across the store. Hacking loudly, Arendell “did intentionally cause a scene” according to an arrest warrant.

While court records do not reveal why Arendell went on the coughing rampage, he allegedly claimed he “could or did have COVID-19.” Seen at right, Arendell is locked up in the county jail in lieu of $6000 bond.

A police spokesperson said it was his understanding that Arendell had “bought some items at a Walmart in another state and became upset when he was denied returning them at the incident location.”

In light of Arendell’s conduct, cops say, Walmart had to destroy merchandise because they could not sell the “infected, damaged items.” The warrant estimated the store’s losses at $2000 or less.

Since early this month, shoppers at the Spartanburg Walmart have been required to wear a face mask due to a city ordinance. Beginning July 20, Walmart began requiring such face coverings at all its U.S. stores.

When stealing from Walmart in broad daylight, it is best to work your way up to the 65” Ultra HD television.

Florida cops are seeking to identify the woman who Sunday afternoon tried to push a shopping cart containing the massive TV out of a store in Mulberry, a town 40 miles east of Tampa.

According to police, the suspect, accompanied by a female cohort, placed assorted electronics items into her cart before adding the 65” Philips TV, which sat precariously in the cart.

When the woman bypassed the checkout lines and headed for the door, Walmart security stopped her and asked to see a receipt for the items in her cart. The woman could not produce evidence that she had paid for the merchandise.

At this point, the woman’s accomplice took the smaller items from the cart and placed them in her car. The duo then fled in the vehicle, leaving the $450 TV behind.

The suspect’s eventual apprehension seems likely since her attempt to boost the TV was captured by Walmart surveillance cameras (as seen above).

A Louisiana man who was asked to leave a Walmart when he refused to wear a mask was arrested after striking a cop with his car in the store’s parking lot, according to a probable cause affidavit.

Ricky Taylor, 64, was inside a Walmart near his West Monroe home Tuesday evening when a cop--apparently working an off-duty security detail at the store--advised him that “the business’ policy is for every customer to wear a mask.”

Upon being offered a mask, Taylor allegedly began cursing out the officer. “You can’t make me wear a fucking mask,” said Taylor. “I’m not wearing a fucking mask.” Taylor would later claim that a purported “medical condition” prevented him from wearing a mask.

Due to Taylor’s unruly behavior, Walmart wanted him “placed on trespass notice,” so the cop asked Taylor for his driver’s license. “I could give it to you but I’m not,” he replied while exiting the store and heading for his vehicle.

As the officer called the car’s license plate into police dispatch, Taylor allegedly backed his auto up and twice struck the patrolman. After a brief struggle, Taylor was handcuffed and taken into custody.

Taylor was charged with aggravated assault on a peace officer, a felony, and disorderly conduct and resisting an officer, both misdemeanors. He was released from jail last night.

While visitors to the West Monroe store already must wear a mask, the entire Walmart chain will require them starting July 20. Police blotters nationwide are expected to immediately reflect the fallout from this policy change.
