In this copy of a District Court docket summarizing a 1988 Michigan DUI arrest, Frey's middle name--for some reason--appears as "Michael." The date of the incident (June 8, 1988) and the date of birth (September 12, 1969) appearing in police reports related to this bust clearly show that the document below refers to future author James Frey, whose middle name is actually Christopher. And then there's his mug shot, which was also snapped on that fateful day in June 1988.
